Releasing What the Body Has Been Holding
June 2, 3 and 4 7pm EST
Our bodies were beautifully designed to protect us — but after stress or trauma, the nervous system can stay stuck in survival mode.
This workshop uses art, breath, and gentle body awareness to help participants release stored tension and return to a place of safety and calm. Rooted in neuroscience and trauma-informed care, ReclaYm Art supports emotional healing by engaging both the brain and body together.
This is not a spiritual or religious practice, but a physiological one — helping the body regulate so we can think clearly, feel connected, and engage more fully with ourselves, others, and God.
Over the course of three days, we’ll gently explore different regions of the body where stress and emotions are commonly stored — such as the throat, heart, gut, and lower body.
Using guided ReclaYm Art and somatic awareness practices, participants will learn how to recognize tension patterns, release stored emotional weight, and support nervous system regulation in each area.
Each session builds on the last, helping the body move from survival mode toward safety, clarity, and connection.
This course is perfect for anyone seeking stress relief, personal growth, and deeper emotional resilience.
Somatic release helps the body let go of stored emotions and tension. You may feel a range of emotions during this process—tears, relief, or even unexpected sensations—and all of it is a natural, safe part of releasing what your body has been holding.
No art skills are required — only a willingness to slow down, explore, and reconnect with yourself.
Join us as we use ReclaYm Art and body-based practices to release stored tension, regulate the nervous system, and restore a sense of balance, clarity, and lasting inner calm.
Once you register and pay, you will receive our group policies. Here is the introduction to NeuroSomatic Art video. I highly recommend you watch it to become familiar with the concept and drawing techniques.
Workshops are always better when familiar faces are their to support us. Feel free to share with your family and friends.
