Broken to Beautiful: A Faith Based Kintsugi Experience

Kintsugi is the art of repairing broken pottery with gold...

not to hide the cracks, but to honor them.

And when you look closely, it mirrors what God does with us. 

God doesn't discard what's been broken. 

He doesn't rush healing.

He doesn't ask us to pretend the cracks aren't there. 

HE MEETS US IN THEM.

Every break.

every wound.

every moment that felt like too much

HE SEES IT ALL

And slowly, with care,

HE BEGINS TO RESTORE.

Not back to what was.

but into something new.

Something SACRED.

In Kintsugi, the gold is what makes the piece more beautiful than before.

And in our lives... that gold is the evidence of God's presence.

His grace in the pain. 

His strength in our weakness.

His love in the places we thought were too damaged to heal. 

The cracks don't disappear. 

They become the story. 

And the gold becomes proof.

that God was there, in every single piece of it.

The Kintsugi workshop is May 2, 2026, at 10am in downtown Lima. Location will be emailed to you upon ticket purchase. 

Tickets are $40/per person - INCLUDES choice of pottery, breakfast goodies/snacks, coffee, water, and juice. 

This workshop is super powerful and can be emotional for some. Especially those releasing a lot of trauma, stored bitterness, hatred, etc. So, I ask each of you to be kind, compassionate, and empathetic to those attendees that may become emotional during this process. 

Pottery will be picked in the order which you placed your order - i.e. order #1, choose first, order 15, chooses 15th and so on. 

Please arrive 15 minutes early for registration check-in and to sign waivers. 

ALLERGIES - We will be working with super glue. If you are allergic, please refrain from attending.
