A VOICE. A CONNECTION. A PURPOSE. A MOVEMENT.

Genesis 50:20

You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good.

Genesis 50:20 is at the heart of the Beautiful Flawed Warrior Movement.

It doesn't mean what happened to us was good. Abuse wasn't good. Trauma wasn't good. The wounds we carry are real.

But what was meant to destroy us does not have to define us.

God can bring beauty from broken places, purpose from painful seasons, and redemption to stories we never would have chosen.

That is what Beautiful Flawed Warrior represents.

Women who have been wounded but are still worthy. Women who carry invisible scars but are still becoming. Women who have been knocked down and continue to rise.

Our trauma is not our identity. Our scars are not our shame. And our story is not over.

THE TRAUMA IS NOT THE PURPOSE.
WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU IS NOT YOUR IDENTITY.
WHAT HARMED YOU DOES NOT GET THE FINAL WORD.

God does.

The Story

Born from survival. Built through healing.

Beautiful Flawed Warrior began with my own story as a childhood trauma survivor. For years, I carried the effects of what happened long after the trauma itself was over.

But my story didn’t end with what happened to me.

Beautiful Flawed Warrior became the name for the woman I was becoming—someone who could acknowledge the wounds, embrace her imperfections, and still recognize the strength it took to keep going.

The Movement

Giving women a voice beyond survival.

Beautiful Flawed Warrior is bigger than my story.

It is a movement for women whose stories have been hidden, minimized, misunderstood, or carried in silence.

We are creating space for women trauma survivors to be seen, heard, understood, and reminded that what happened to them does not have to be the final chapter.

We are reaching beyond one woman, one story, and one community—because there are women everywhere who need to know:

You survived. You still have a voice. And you are still becoming.

The Mission

To turn lived experience into connection, awareness, and hope.

Our mission is to use real stories, honest conversations, education, creative expression, and community to help break the silence surrounding trauma.

I want to be a voice for women who are still finding theirs—and help create a world where survivors are met with understanding instead of judgment.

We speak so another woman knows she is not alone.

Why The Apparel Matters

It’s more than something you wear. It represents something you’ve lived.

Beautiful Flawed Warrior apparel carries a message.

Beautiful

Your invisible scars still carry a story of redemption. Through it all, you are still beautiful. Still worthy.

Flawed
Your scars don't make you imperfect. You are perfectly you.
Human. Still healing. Still growing. Still becoming.

Warrior
No matter how many times trauma has knocked you down, you rise again. And again. And again.

Beautiful Flawed Warrior isn't about pretending the wounds aren't there.

It's about recognizing that what happened to you did not take away your worth. Your imperfections don't disqualify you. Your healing doesn't have to look perfect.

You can carry a story that includes pain and still become a woman who carries faith, strength, purpose, hope, and a voice.

When a woman wears Beautiful Flawed Warrior, she isn't advertising perfection. She's carrying a piece of her story into the world.

And sometimes, another woman will see those words at exactly the moment she needs them.

Wear the message. Start the conversation. Reach the woman who needs to see it.

A Place to Belong. A Space to Begin.

You don't have to walk your healing journey alone. We can be your voice.

The 50:20 Movement is more than a message printed on clothing. It's a movement for women who have survived abuse, who have been silenced, and who are ready to reclaim their voices—gently, courageously, and at their own pace.

A safe, faith-centered community created by a woman trauma survivor who understands what it means to survive, where every woman has the opportunity to be seen, heard, understood, and supported as she discovers what healing can look like beyond survival.

That's why we're creating intimate, 12-week group experiences designed to encourage connection, personal growth, faith, and healing.

What To Expect

12 Weeks. 6 Gatherings. One Supportive Sisterhood.

Our groups meet every other week for 12 weeks, with the same women walking alongside one another throughout the experience.

Each group is intentionally limited to 12 women to help foster consistency, trust, and meaningful relationships.

Throughout our time together, we'll explore:

  • Identity in Christ: Discovering who God says we are and recognizing our inherent worth.

  • Beyond the Abuse: Acknowledging what we've experienced while learning that our trauma does not define us.

  • Understanding Trauma: Exploring how overwhelming experiences can affect our minds, bodies, emotions, and relationships.

  • Healing Strategies: Learning supportive practices through therapeutic art, breathing, grounding, prayer, and reflection.

  • Boundaries & Connection: Reclaiming our voices, establishing healthy boundaries, and building meaningful relationships.

  • Transformation & Becoming: Discovering hope, purpose, and the possibilities God has for our lives beyond survival.

Why We Keep Our Groups Small

Healing conversations require care, consistency, and trust.

Once a group begins, enrollment closes until the next 12-week experience. This allows women to develop relationships without the disruption of new participants joining midway through.

No pressure to share. No expectation to have it all figured out. Just a place to show up as you are.

Our Heart Behind The Movement

Our desire is to make these experiences free or as affordable as possible. Proceeds from The 50:20 Movement apparel help support gathering spaces, workbooks, creative materials, and participation assistance.

Our long-term vision is to bring these gatherings to communities across the nation.

Because your past may be part of your story, but it doesn't have to determine your future.

Genesis 50:20

Ready To Find Your Place?

Whether you're beginning to explore healing or simply longing for connection with women who understand, there's a place for you here.

Your Story Matters. Your Healing Matters. You Belong.

The 50:20 Movement offers intimate, faith-centered 12-week group experiences for women who have survived trauma and are seeking connection, encouragement, personal growth, and community.

To help create a safe, supportive, and consistent environment, participation begins with a confidential interest and application form.

Each application is thoughtfully reviewed before acceptance. Groups are limited to 12 women, and enrollment closes once a group begins.

Taking the first step doesn't mean you have to share your entire story. It simply means you're interested in finding a place where you can begin moving forward alongside women who understand.

[ APPLY TO JOIN A 50:20 GROUP ] (COMING SOON) If I cannot find a local spot, we will host online

Submitting an application does not guarantee placement. Applicants will be contacted with information about availability and next steps.

You will never be required to share the details of your trauma. Your voice matters, and so does your right to choose when and how you use it.

This is a faith-centered, trauma-informed educational and peer-support experience, not a replacement for professional mental health treatment.

What was meant for harm doesn't get the final word.

You don't have to have a finished healing story to be a Beautiful Flawed Warrior. You just have to be you.

Gina - sexual abuse & DV survivor

My sexual abuse started at the age of 6 from the man who was supposed to love me, protect me, and show me how a man should treat me later on in life. Instead, for 11 years I was sexually, verbally, physically, and emotionally abused almost daily.

The aftereffects are real. The sleepless nights. The triggers. The reactions. The high cortisol. The constant fight or flight. But it does get better. Trust me, it does.

After 40 years, God helped me find my voice and be the voice for others.

I started The 50:20 Movement for female trauma survivors to not be alone, afraid, and continue carrying that shame and guilt that was never yours. A place to be heal, transform, and connect.

I understand because I was you.

You have voice and choice:

You can share your photo, name, and one sentence from your story or you can share anonymously, and that's perfectly welcome.

Your safety and nervous system matters here.
